I had a lot of fun meeting Elijah and talking about how the aspects of white supremacy culture that show up in “business as usual.”  Together we spell out the very basics of where white supremacy culture has started and then move into talking about how we see it manifesting in our individual patterns and in scientific communities. I even throw in a little about how an organization I consult for Lucinetic is a part of creating AI that challenges that bias that’s often written into letters of recommendation through some programming I helped shape (skip to 27:51 to hear more about letters of recommendation and Lucienteic in specific). Toward the end, we get to talking about the Transformative ERG toolkit and how you can put it into practice.
